Julian is a founding Director of RP International and has over 30 years’ experience recruiting for industry sectors with a high dependency on IT and Networks.
Julian was instrumental in launching RPI on the back of international deregulating Telecoms and Banking markets. He has been responsible for board-level assignments in Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Americas before moving to run the MEA region in 2009.
In the Middle East and Africa Julian has navigated RPI through an evolving recruitment landscape as the demand for skills and expertise has gone through significant change. The explosion in the Aviation, Travel and Logistics sector has put the focus on supplying relevant Subject Matter Experts across Strategy, Business Analysis, Solution Architecture and Project Management. Whilst the more established sectors of Telecoms, Media, Banking and Government are undergoing dramatic transformation as they embrace new enterprise solutions, the ‘Internet of Things’ and a critical need for strategy and solutions across security, big data and radical business transformation driven and enabled by technology. This has placed the emphasis on change management, PMO, compliance, governance, structure and methodology expertise.
The MEA region is far from homogenous but the RP brand and ethos persists as a beacon of quality, integrity and efficiency across the spectrum of clients using our services. Julian and his team are constantly working to create recruitment solutions and strategies that address the ever changing landscape in harmony with the technology dependent business transformations.
Previously Julian worked as the director of the Banking and Finance recruitment practice of Parity plc, at that time Europe's largest Technology recruitment company and at Penna plc where he was responsible for recruiting IT and Operations Directors for major international financial institutions, their vendors, consultancies and integrators.
