European Airline Passenger Service Systems Migration
Our client is one of Europe’s leading airlines. It has 64 national and international awards for quality and following a successful recapitalisation and a fundamental restructuring it is already experiencing favourable growth in its code share passengers and development of new code share routes.
In support of this new growth and restructuring, the airline took the decision to migrate its Passenger Service Systems (PSS) from one suite (Amadeus) to another partner (Sabre). This is a major and complex undertaking and the airline sought the assistance of RP International (RPI) in sourcing, selecting and providing the best aviation PSS expertise for the project. Over a period of 2 years RPI fulfilled roles in Programme Management, Project Management, Cutover Planning, Data Migration, Test Management, Project Planning, Control and Delivery.
RPI was able to attract internationally experienced consultants who had previously delivered in not only significant airline technology transformations but had also delivered in similar PSS transformations.
RPI provided payroll and in some instances visa services to the consultants. RPI was able to ensure that all consultants were compliant to the local taxation and national contribution laws and protected the end client from any exposure that any non-compliance might cause.
It also ensured the consultant could exit the client and the country without any issues and move easily to their next engagement.
