Financial Services Transformation
Our client is one of the top 3 banks in the UAE by assets and is undergoing considerable change and transformation owing to merger and digital transformation. It is revamping Personal and Corporate Banking services in addition to Islamic Banking services – one of the fastest growing financial services in the entire industry in this region.
In order to drive automation and transformation, the bank undertook a combination of Core Banking change programmes in addition to gradual adoption of digital and distributed architectures and platforms across their Retail and Investment Banking arms and their Risk, Treasury and Infrastructure departments.
RP International was hired by the bank to place interim and permanent Project Management Office and Change Experts for the various IT and Business Transformation teams. These contractors and full-time employees reported into the CTO and heads of the various business sectors. As an example, RP International placed the Senior Manager for IT Strategy and Transformation. This role required the candidate to introduce structure, implement strategy and methodology, enable change management and portfolio management, and provide Quality Assurance across all projects bank wide.
