Introduction:
My client, a globally-respected financial software company, is looking for a business development consultant who will be responsible for sales growth and business development of their cross-asset trading/pricing software solutions to the Indian market.
The role:
Role:
-Responsible for signing new deals with prospective clients (mainly)
-Responsible for developing existing client business (secondary)
-Initiates and respond to opportunities
-Handles the entire sales process
-Conducts presentation of the company and its offering
-Completes RFI’s and RFP’s
-Coordinates proposal services
-Coordinates demonstrations and workshops/POC
-Defines targeted agendas
-Negotiates with buyers (license, maintenance, services)
-Coordinates with legal to finalize the contract
Requirements:
Requirements:
-7+ years of overall work experience, mainly in a sales role for a financial software vendor
-Strong experience of end-to-end sales process
-Result-orientated with a proven track record
-Knowledge of financial markets (vanilla/exotic products)
-Ability to perform first level software presentation
-Good experience of the Indian market (sell side, buy side, corporate)
-Team player (interact with presales, products experts, delivery, legal, admin)
-Tenacious (average sales process > 12 months)
-Ability to travel to India on frequent basis
-Would consider candidates based in India willing to relocate to Singapore (local SG contract basis - no expat contract)
