31/07/2014 by Jeremy Hopwood

US cloud infrastructure provider iland Internet Solutions recently announced that it has taken steps to satisfy Singapore's need for global cloud environments by providing customers with access to facilities through Pacnet's CloudSpace II data centre.

With the Enterprise Cloud Services (iland ECS) iland offers, companies can enjoy visibility, performance and personalised support that allow them to predict costs, deal with complex challenges and be confident of meeting compliance requirements. What iland's services strive for is to encourage and maintain development, testing and business continuity, as well as supporting production workloads.

With iland at their side, businesses stand a greater chance at preventing human error, warding off cyber threats and minimising the damages of natural disasters. The company offers a special service by the name of Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service (DraaS). What's more, thanks to its iland ECS portal, IT and business users can supply cloud services quickly, controlling costs and managing resources. The portal allows them to maximise performance and enhance compliance as well.

Scott Sparvero, CEO and co-founder of iland, says that the company is happy to expand into Singapore, the country being such a centre of business and technological innovation. The company's aim is to work with customers directly, satisfying their needs and helping them protect business and stimulate its growth.Pacnet's Vice President of Data Centre Services, Giles Proctor, welcomed iland to Singapore and is glad the cloud infrastructure provider has chosen Pacnet's CloudSpace facility as the point from which to bring its services to the Asia-Pacific region.
